Visiting a new place is always accompanied by plenty of questions. You have many concerns, and this page is to help address some of those concerns and hopefully answer some questions you may have. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact us and we will do everything we can to help.
What are the services like?
Worship begins at 11:00 am on Sunday mornings following an hour of small Sunday school-styled groups. A typical service will include a time of welcome and announcements followed by a time of worship in music and song. Our worship is blended, including both traditional hymns as well as newer worship songs. Following worship, Pastor Justin preaches a biblical message that is typically 30-40 minutes in length. Typically, from the months of August through May we are in a verse-by-verse book study (currently in Corinthians) and during the summer months we have a topical series.
Where do I go when I get there?
We have two main entrances to our building. Both entrances enter into the foyer area, and on either end of the foyer are hallways which lead directly to the sanctuary. Follow the hallway to the double doors and you will enter into the back of the sanctuary. There are restrooms located on both hallways.
What do people wear?
There is no "dress code", and people will be wearing a mixture of styles, to include extremely relaxed. Come as you are!
What about children?
We think that it is good for children and parents to worship together, and we encourage families to do so during our time of music. For those Sundays that infants and children are restless, we provide both nursery and children’s church. Children’s church is a ministry that focuses on the goodness of God at an age appropriate level (3 years-7 years) with prayer, games, songs, and snacks, and the nursery is always staffed with multiple volunteers. Since children are capable of learning, we use the time to teach the children about God and His Word.
What do you believe?
Missionary Alliance is a part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance. For more information on what we believe, teach, and practice please read our Statement of Faith here.
What type of church government do you have?
As an Alliance church, we are governed by a locally-elected body of elders. Our Board of Elders is the highest authority of the local church, once elected by the membership. We also elect members to serve on a Governing Board, which oversees the business of the church.
